Switching to solar energy is a significant step towards sustainability and cost savings. If you're a resident of Shingle Springs, enrolling in GridGen's Solar Program can be a seamless and rewarding experience. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the process, ensuring you understand every aspect of the program.

Understanding GridGen's Solar Program

GridGen is a brand new concept, it's a utility-sponsored solar/battery program designed to reduce electricity bills & avoid power outages. Pioneer provides the equipment.

How this saves you money...
You pay a lower rate for power than standard PG&E rates.
Your power is produced by a solar system on your home and shows up as a line item on your existing PG&E / Pioneer bill.

Lower rate.  Same bill.  Simple.

Why this is different from traditional solar...
Traditional solar usually means private financing, separate contracts, and a second bill form a solar provider.

GridGen simplifies all of that.

Solar systems are installed by GridGen-certified installers, but pricing, rules, and billing are handled through the GridGen Program and tied directly to your existing PG&E account, showing as a line item on your existing PG&E bill.

One program.
One bill.
Fewer moving parts.

• No credit check
• No upfront costs
• No solar loan
• No lien on the home
• Program oversight by the CPUC

What’s included
